Finding the grade book:
PowerTeacher Grade Book has replaced the old application Powergrade. The new gradebook is a web based java application. It can be run from any computer with internet access. To launch the gradebook go to PowerTeacher....
Powerschool recommends that you use firefox when using the new grade book.
enter into the url bar of firefox one of the following addresses.
10.1.1.20/teachers... at school
or
ps.msad51.org/teachers.. outside the school network
and select the grade book tab.... then click launch to run the application.

On Line Training:
PowerSchool has provided an opportunity for you to take an on-line tutorial to learn how to use the new grade book
1. click on the link for new traing users at the bottom of the grade book page
2.enter your name, email address and the code PSS@01GB. hit next
3. on the next screen hit submit.. you will be asked to set up an registration account... enter a password for your new account and log in
4. On the left side of the screen you will see powerteacher gradebook 1.1.. hit add
5. on the next screen scroll to the bottom and hit register for the gradebook online course
6. next screen scroll to the bottom anc click on launcn for the gradebook course
the course will take about 90 minutes.... all teachers using the gradebook should take the course
