| MSAD 51 supports student learning through an aligned k-12 curriculum. The Board of Directors has approved a Curriculum Review Cycle and content area groups work during professional learning time to develop and align curriculum. The files attached provide an overview, please check with individual teachers for specific curriculum. Please contact David Galin with questions or comments. | | MSAD 51 uses data to inform instruction, design programs, to provide feedback on our performance, and to help with goal setting. We analyze student learning data provided by state tests (Maine Educational Assessment and Maine High School Assessment). We also collect perception data through regular surveys. This survey data is available in Performance Data Committee reports (prior to 2005) and in the MSAD 51 Annual Report (after 2006). | | This report is intended to provide information to the community, parents, Board of Directors, District Leadership and staff as a foundation for decision-making and to allow assessment of the success of the Districtís mission over time. In addition to providing the most current information available for each indicator, historical information is used to identify trends and patterns over time, and data from neighboring communities and the state is used to provide meaningful comparisons. In addition, this report will highlight building and District initiatives and report on their status. This self-assessment will provide a forum for on-going reflection of District priorities. | | SAD 51 continues to work to support our students and staff as they work together learning and teaching.
